Jeff Herron is only 15 so as far as we can tell he isn’t driving (legally)
yet. But maybe you can slip in some miles in San Tan Valley, AZ without
anyone being the wiser. So what we’re looking at here is Jeff’s dad’s 1984
318 D-150. Jeff maintains its pretty rare to find the 318 shortbed with the A-833 4-speed.
Maybe in San Tan Valley, but the Wal Mart parking lots are full of ’em
where we are. Gotta put an antenna ball on to pick yours out from the
crowd. Jeff and his dad found the truck sitting (rather than standing)
by the side of a house. They asked if it was for sale, and then they
asked again, this time much more aggressively. They bought the
Dodge the same day. Then they cleaned it up, lowered it and added
a custom pistol grip for the 4-speed. Jeff says he hopes to own the
truck someday. Jeff, usually it’s just a matter of time.
