I am working on a ’68 Polara, 440 Magnum.
Someone changed all the fuel lines
to rubber. I have been told that the lines
into the filter, from the pump, are the
same as on AVS-equipped B-bodies (this
car came with a Holley, as I am sure you
know). How was the fuel line to the carburetor
routed?
The steel line curves around and follows
the inside edge of the distributor cap, see
drawing, above. This setup was also used
on later B- and E-body big-blocks with
Holley 4160 carbs.
