Lights Out?

I am trying to figure out if I can have the
parking lights on the same time as the
headlights on my ’64 Fury. Looking at the
schematic and checking continuity at the
switch it seems like the switch is such
that you cannot simply add a jumper wire
between the H and P terminals and make
it work. Simply put, is it possible, and
can I make it happen? I am sorry if this
is a common question, I have not seen
it posted anywhere. I figured if anyone
would know it would be the all-knowing
of everything Mopar, Mr. Ebooger.

Remove the Yellow (w/ tracer) wire from
the headlamp switch pin P and “T” splice
it into the black wire on pin R.
