’87 Daytona CV Axle Breaks

Tech Question

Steve Geist, Gering NE, 1987 Dodge Daytona Pacifica 2.2

the CV axle on the passenger side of the vehicle continuesgrenade after only a few miles of driving. The axle has been replaced threetimes now and the third one is already showing signs of malfunction after acouple of days of driving. The axles have been purchased from two differentparts houses. Any thoughts?

The engine is off center. Check all the mounts. If they appear OK, adjustthe front engine mount per the FSM and it will be fixed.
