Can you tell by looking at an A727 valve
body whether or not it has part-throttle
kickdown? I really like that feature, I have
attached a photo.
Yes, I can tell, and yes, the photo you
sent shows the PTKD throttle valve. I have
marked up your photo,
PTKD was introduced in 1971 on A727s. That year, it was
in every Mopar built, except, for some
unknown reason, in Hemis.
