Wrecked Rockers

WRECKED ROCKERS
I have a valvetrain problem; cam is Comp
274°, OEM Mopar stamped rockers,
Comp #924 springs, stock push rods
9.31˝. One pushrod punched through a
rocker arm, but there was no piston, valve
guide, or retainer contact. I may have had
the rocker shaft oiling holes in the wrong

direction, they are facing
down and angled to the
valve, just wondering if
they are on correctly.
Thanks, great to have
Mopar Action back, it’s
the best out there by far.

The shafts may be
reversed, see graphic,
although your
description makes me
unsure of this. Installed
incorrectly, the oil will not
get to where it is needed,
causing problems such as
you describe
