I am assembling a ’68 Charger and I am
trying to get the doors to close properly.
I see that, once you loosen the screws
on the big cast piece, it can be moved
around. But it seems to be too far from
theb latch. How do you move it closer?
Shims! See factory drawing, Repros
are available, or find ’em in junk cars,
eBay, etc. Tip: Be sure the rotor is well
greased (white lithium lube such as Lubriplate.)
