I am still restoring a big block ’70
Challenger and putting the original A/C
system on it. I bought a suction/muffler
ass’y line supposedly for a big block
that has the muffler near the compressor
end. I believe I remember the BB line
actually had it near the firewall end. (I’m
guessing to provide clearance for distributor
access under the line). Is there a
difference other than length between a
BB line and SB? I can’t find a clear pic
or drawing anywhere. Any help or insight
would be great.
The book shows multiple P/N, 1970 is different
from ’71, and big-block is different
from small block. A ’70 big-block E-body
uses 3444831.
