(4)40 Lashes

I have a question that probably sounds
simple to you, but I will ask anyway.
I bought a ’68 440 HP engine for my ’68
Coronet R/T and I am now on to dismantle it.
My question is: How to adjust the valves on a
Mopar 440 engine?

Yes, it is simple, I’m sure you will agree.
Assuming we are talking about a stock
440, there’s nothing to adjust. All 440s, and
99.7% of all other big-block Mopars, have
hydraulic lifters (tappets) which automatically
keep the valve lash at zero.
