An engineering team, headed by John Matterazzo, built the 2008 392 Hemi Challenger from scratch, in record time. They started with a bare plastic shell, and had to fabricate a zillion pieces, utilizing the facilities of the Chrysler Group’s plastic, wood, metal, paint shops and other company resources. Here are some in-progress views, showing some of the custom metal pieces bonded to the plastic shell, and structural/ component details. There, now couldn’t you do that?
