No doubt that drag racing at National Trail Raceway in Columbus, OH. That was the case at the 40th running of the Nats in 2021. A crummy weather forecast for the early part of the event gave way to clearing and drier conditions which brought the racers out in droves. If you’re the type of Mo’fan who enjoys loitering in the grandstand and finding excitement in watching round after round of paired Mopars smoke ’em in the burnout box and then launch hard when the tree comes down…this post is for you. Or, if you’re the type of Mo’fan who would rather sit home under the air conditioner with a bag of pretzels and a grape soda close at hand and look at pictures of Mopars smokin’ ’em in the burnout box and then launching hard when the tree comes down…this post is for you. Or, if you’re the kind of Mo’fan who would rather watch Honey Boo Boo…this post is for your brother, or your uncle or… All photos courtesy of Mopar Action Zookeeper and ace lensman, Geoff Stunkard. Enjoy, and don’t let that ice melt in your grape soda.
