Mega Mopar Action Series – Extra Coverage

THE ROCK 2013

“Bullet” Bob Reed brought up 2 freshly done SS/AH ’68 Hemi Barracudas for some match race action.

Amazing Mopars from Vipers, to late model Challengers and Chargers to an always popular Plymouth Super Bird came out in force to Rockingham Dragway to take advantage of the clear and sunny day to show their rides alongside the excitement going on at the dragstrip. Even several of the car show participants took home a first and second in the 2013 season’s inaugural S&W Race Cars Challenger Shootout on the dragstrip, while others joined in the fast fun in the DOT Trophy class.

It was wheels-up excitement viewed either from the front or rear.

Dave Werner’s modified ’75 Dodge Dart Hang 10 edition.

Bob Gydosh won best LC Modified with his 2010 “Cuda-ized” Challenger with pieces from Mr. Norm. A Kenne Bell blower helps with some serious horsepower. Bob’s sign tells it like it is.

Mike Kayrouz smokes ‘em in Steve Bagwell’s old ’65 SS/BA ride.

Great turnout of classic and modern Mopars.

Not everyone had fun at The Rock.
