I see a ’68 Dodge Dart on eBay and it was a 4-door. Why would they turn it into a 2-door? The car looks pretty good and I was wonder is it worth $4500. ?

As you know, this was the auction text:
“This is a 1968 dodge dart / x‑ 4 door/ 225 engine with offenhausser 4 barrel intake with a brand new 600 weber eldebrouck carb/ 4 link suspension with air shocks/ 9 inch ford rear end with 3.73 gears/ brand new tires all around/ very nice interior/ new paint job/ new brakes/ lines/ runs perfect/ look at pictures and see/ good luck…. “
What can I say? There’s no requirement for good taste or brains as a prerequisite for selling
on eBay! What you see is what you get: a 4-door slant-6 Dart with the rear door welded (or just Bondo’d, who knows?) shut.

This Dart is a 4-door sedan. Uh, it was a 4-door sedan! Reader Mosholder asked why anyone would do this. We second that emotion. Rear seat access…?
