Could you tell me if the 1970 E‑bodies that came with the light package option had the small extra light in the lightbar for the rallye dash that lights up the switch panel to the left of speedo ?

Yes, option code A01—Light Package—included a “Auxiliary Switch Title Lamp”, in addition to the well‑known fender‑mounted turn signal indicators, trunk light, glove box light, ash receiver light, ignition switch light with time delay (this same delay feature was connected to the switch‑title and instrument cluster lamps), and map and courtesy lamps.
The above applied whether or not the rallye cluster was optioned.
