Noel Sheehan from down under New Zealand, bought this ’34
Plymouth Deluxe 19 years ago—about the same time he
started reading Mopar Action. He says that we inspired him to
repower this 3-owner classic with a 440/4-speed drivetrain. He
rebuilt the stock chassis and added disc brakes all around. The
best 1/4-mile time for this neat street rod is 13.99@ 99 mph.
Of course, you’d have to convert that to determine the time for
running on the upside of the planet.
