Action Hummel Figure

0

Todd and Tonya Hummel, from Hillsboro, OR, bought this ’70
Challenger R/T in 1992 with 69,000 miles. The stock 383 had
been blown up and the 4-speed was missing. The Hummels had
to wait until ’98 to amass the money needed for the resto. A
fresh Sublime paintjob complemented the redone interior using
the products and services of our advertisers. A few more ponies
were added underhood with a 400 B-motor modded with a 500-
inch stroker kit from Indy. Heads are Indy SRs, while the intake is
an Edelbrock Performer and a Demon 850 carb. A McLeod twin
disc clutch and an 18-spline Hemi 4-speed take it from there to
the 3.54 Dana. Subframe connectors beef the unibody. Todd has
turned 11.72 @ 118 mph with his street ’n’ stripper.
