Danny Welge’s grandparents purchased this 1984 Dodge
Ram Custom 100 new. He says he has tons of memories
growing up with this truck. When Dan trained to become a
mechanic, he worked on the Dodge and became even more
attached to it. A few years ago, his grandmother gave him
the Dodge after his grandfather passed away. Dan rebuilt
the motor and upgraded it to 400 ponies hooked to a 727.
The truck consistently pulls trophies at shows in the “Original
Grandfather’s” class where competition is usually stiff.
