with original scoops and ’69
side scoops. Troy says he still
has the mint ’68 power bulge
hood. The mods extend to
the engine bay where, even if
you can’t see them unless you
have X-ray vision, you would
find a 496 big-block, Eagle
crank, six-pack rods (off eBay)
440source ported and polished
aluminum heads, 850+
cfm modified Holley on a
heavily modified Holley Dominator
manifold, “massive” cam
and 10:25 to 1 Keith Black
pistons. In spite of headers, 3”
exhaust with electric cutouts,
Troy, who hails from Overland
Park, Kansas, went with original
valve covers for a “stock”
appearance.
