Wheel Width ’66 Belvedere

Tech Question

Dan Syvrud, McKinney, TX, 1966 Plymouth Belvedere 440

I’m putting front disc brakes on my 66 Belvedere II and nowneed 15″ or larger wheels. What offset can I use? I plan on lowering thecar. I plan on going with 18″ or larger wheels later on but now I’m lookingfor “roll around” wheels while I’m working on the car. Thanks fo any helpyou can give me.

Dan-

For temporary wheels, 5.5 – 6″ or so wide, it is pretty non-critical. Onceyou get to 8″ width, you need to pay more attention. While I alwaysrecommend measuring, something in the range of zero offset is usually prettycose.
