What transmission fluid do you recommend for A-833 4-speedod? I have 75/90 syntheyic hypoid gear oil in it now, but have heard reportsthat a synthetic oil could cause premature wear of the synchronizers cones,is this true? Norm

Wear? No, not true. But a fill with synthetic lubricant, without cutting therequired grooves (“escape channels”) in the stop rings, usually causesclashing and the resulting dog-tooth damage.

Use mineral 85W140.
