what is the axle track for the 9 1/4″ rear end from a B-van? Will it fit my F-body as is? This is the only plentiful rear end with an acceptable price.

the B-van axle assembly way, way too wide. The only one that evencomes close would be from a Dakota pickup (which had 9.25″ axles startingwith the ’92 318.)
But any 9.25″ could be narrowed by a competent shop like Moser Engineering.Then you’d be able to have wide wheels exactly cenetered in the wheelopenings, etc.
