Mark Cash, Cypress, TX, 71 Plym Cuda 440
I want to install leaf a spring relocation kit on my '71 'Cuda 440 for extra tire width. Can I still use my rear sway bar that came on the car? Should I order standard or heavy duty rear leaf springs?
I think the sway bar's end links will have enough lateral range to allow this. If not, 5 minutes in a press (cold) would "narrow" the bar (reduce the included angle of the outer bends a tad).
Springs are your choice. If original 440 car, it came with XHD springs which are quite good.
