Tech QuestionPaul Prekeris, Old Bridge, NJ, Plymouth Cuda 426 I read your brief article on A833 Hemi 4spds. I am in possession of an A833 syncroless 18 spline 4 spd. No syncros or dogs. I'm trying to understand if this type of transmission was ever offered direct from mopar. Thanks in advance Paul Paul- No. Chrysler offered tech info on how to achieve this crash-box setup, referred to by MaMopar as "Slick Shift" back in the day, but it was never OEM in any vehicle. By the way, it may not have the stop rings, but if there's no dog teeth whatsoever on the speed gears, you're a pedestrian! (Or, you enjoy driving long distances in reverse!) Rick
