Tech QuestionRICHARD GIBSON, SOMERSWORTH, NH, 1970 PLYMOUTH ROADRUNNER 383 I HAVE A 70 RR, 383, AUTOMATIC, I TURN THE KEY TO START AND GET NOTHING, MY LIGHTS ALL WORK MY GAUGES WORK I CHANGED MY STARTER RELAY, STILL NOTHING. IF I CROSS STARTER RELAY TERNIAL IT STARTS RIGHT UP. I CHECKED FIREWALL PLUG ALL ARE GOOD. I UNPLUGGED THE NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH. STILL NOTHING.Richard- There's only 2 possibilities: > 12v from the ignition switch isn't making it to the yellow wire (on the relay) when you turn the key to "crank" or > The brn/yel wire isn't being grounded by the NS switch Nothing else it can be! Usually it is the latter problem (linkage misadjustment, bad NS switch, broken rooster comb in trans, bad NS switch connector). To check, just temporarily ground the lug marked "G" (The one with the brn/yel wire) and see if it starts with the key. Yes? It is as I suspect. No? Trace yellow back trough firewall, poss. bad bulkhead connector, ign switch, or switch connector. It cannot crank -- ever -- with the neutral safety switch disconnected. Rick
