Brian Soash, Monrovia, CA, 1972 Plymouth Scamp 360
I am currently upgrading the braking and suspension system on my A-body to disc brakes and firmer handling. My question is with regard to upper and lower control arms from 73-76 A Bodies that came with disc brakes. Is it possible to tell if either of these items came off a vehicle with disc brakes when the rotors and calipers are missing?
Brian, yes. And no. Confusing? Not really. The control arms (for those years 73-76) are the same, disc or drum.
