Jon Finnicum, New Phila, OH, 66 ply belvedere 318
My car is a '66 Belvedere with a 318, poly-wide block, with a 727 transmission. Will a small block bolt up to the transmission like a 318. Or a big block like a 440?

Any '62-up smallblock, 318 poly or wedge, 273, 340, or 360 will bolt up to the trans.
There's no such thing as a 318 "wide block".
A big block would require a swap to a A-727-B transmission.
