Which fan clutch will give me the most cooling, thermo or non thermo?
A thermal control clutch - identified by the coiled bimetallic spring in the front of the hub, will do the best job. As temps increase, the thermostat mechanism closes off an orifice in the fluid drive, reducing the slippage, thereby providing fan RPM close to that of a solid hub.
